Teaching intro to sustainability (ENVS200) and Human Geography (GEOG310)

Co-host of the IDEA-produced In Development Podcast, focused on the issues and successes of the local infill industry in Edmonton. After starting with a two-person operation and doing our own editing and logistics, we grew the podcast to a team of five and delivered 39 episodes, featuring guests with expertise in real estate, architecture, design, financing and urban planning, including guests from the City of Edmonton, private industry, non-profit and academic sectors. This podcast was a longtime dream of mine, so being able to get it off the ground and to the modest height achieved to allow me to step away is massively important to me.

-Day-to-day planning including enforcing the Zoning By-law and development consultations-Writing and presenting reports to Planning Commission and City Council-Long range planning project management including Secondary Plan development and creating design standards-Liaison between development community and the City.

-small scale landscape design for private residences, child care centres and schools. -meeting with clients on a regular basis, design/drafting and project management-technical support (AutoCAD & Sketchup) for ongoing projects
