Nearly 20 years ago I started my first Marketing Firm, Empire Direct Marketing. In 2004 I shifted gears and opened a consumer focused technology service company, Nerds On Call. Now, I return to my marketing roots.Nerds On Call has 14 years of success and no longer needs me to run the day-to-day, there are others far more qualified for that sort of thing. I'm excited to get back into marketing, it has been my passion. I successfully transitioned Nerds off of old media advertising (TV, Radio, Billboards, Print) in 2008 and adopted a Digital first strategy.In opening Squirrel, I plan to share my knowledge and passion with other businesses. I want to help grow companies and create new market opportunities for business owners and marketing professionals that need to gain clients and partnerships with a positive ROI.I want to disrupt the agency model. Too many agencies are out to keep clients on the hook for large consulting fees and milk long term contracts all while barely moving the sales needle.Bottom line, if you're in Marketing and you can't show sales growth, you're doing it wrong. Tracking CTR, Impressions, Conversions, email subscribers, etc. are all a load of bunk, if there isn't more money going to the bank at the end of the day.Agencies are Vampires. They suck good capital out of companies and offer crappy KPIs as proof of their efforts. Hire someone and tie their renewals to their results. The only results that matter. "How mcuh money did you make me?"
