My first job out of college was at Nextel, selling new technology to small business. I then worked in the automotive and petroleum industries. After that I followed a dream and became owner/operator of my own business. In the 20 plus years in sales I learned a few things; I am driven by the satisfaction of solving problems, I enjoy talking with people, I am inspired by learning and researching new ideas and projects and I feel accomplished when my clients are satisfied with the end results. I think about the "right way" to do something and will stand up for what will derive the best result. My perseverance to work for myself and have control over the end results lead me to owning my first business. In 2015 I started with a list of all the things I love to do; being outdoors (mountain bike riding, camping, off road racing), being active (hiking), nature and animals. In doing so I came across a perfect mix of people, community and dogs, and 8 months later Dog Gone Clean Mobile Grooming was launched! I built Dog Gone Clean from the ground up and had sucess within the first year. I could pay all my bills, hired a full time employee, and had a little extra on the side. After two years I realized I loved the relationships I made with my clients and their dogs, seeing the positive results I had on many families and the community, but ultimately grooming wasnt my passion. I sold the business to a thriving groomer in San Diego and now I am ready for the next opportunity/chapter in my life. My strong work ethic, commitment to strive for my clients satisfaction, drive to help solve problems, and connect with people is still as strong as ever as I look forward to exploring all the options that are out there today.
