Work directly with the Executive Vice President of Raw Materials Procurement to source on a monthly basis the raw materials for leather making from the United States, South America, Europe, and Australian based suppliersDaily duties include negotiations of purchasing agreements based on monthly production schedules, managing raw material quality, raw material production planning, shipping logistics, market tracking/analysis, and spend analysisOther duties include factory visits, evaluation of new suppliers, evaluation of new & existing raw material, claim resolution, vendor reviews, and other duties as they ariseTravel approximately 40-50% to China, Europe, South America, Australia, and within the United States.
