Key Duties: -Developed and revised detailed CAD drawings from LIDAR point clouds adhering to specified standards, requirements, and best practices across multiple drawing platforms-Provided QA/QC for the drafting done by CAD Technician Jr.’s, following strict tolerances set forth by the CAD Manager, and the project parameters-Assisted CAD Technicians Jr.’s with CAD-related issues, as well as providing training on new software for both the Data, and CAD DepartmentsOther Duties:-Maintained established server and file structure discipline-Communicated clearly and consistently with Supervisor, teammates, department managers, and clientsAdditionally:During this time, I also assisted the Data Manager while the Data department was shorthanded in processing all incoming field point cloud data into a usable format, analyzing the point cloud integrity, as well as the integrity of all collected auxiliary data. All work execution at this time was mapped and tracked on a multi-project system within Smartsheet (a software used to assign tasks, track project progress, manage calendars, share documents, and manage other work, using a tabular and cloud-based user interface). I was tasked on top of all other duties with designing and constructing the work execution and project planning platforms within Smartsheet that were used by Tukuh for its primary project. This task would continue into my next role and would become one of my Key Duties, where I would complete the platform independently. All while continuing to excel in the job duties of the Cad Technician Mid role.

Worked seasonally as an apprentice in a small family owned Wallpaper company. Advanced until a Journeyman Painter, and Wallpaper Hanger. Stripped wallpaper, cleaned and repaired wall surfaces in preparation for paint, prepped new wallpaper to be hung, balanced and hung wallpaper and wall applications across varying surface shapes, sizes, and materials, and installed temporary protective measures to assist in accuracy and protection of clientele owned assets and property.

As a team member found creative and efficient solutions to the current processes within the Valley. Participated in a Design Charrette with several of Central Americas leading Sustainable Architects, and Civic Engineers for the Master Plan of the Town, and Institute of Kalu Yala, contributing the design of the Recreation Park, and design element insights for the architectural structure options for the implemented Form Based Code structure.Performed research, designed, and constructed a hand powered washing machine which fed into the grey water system of the town to keep the river system clean of the soaps toxic chemicals, and be more efficient; featured in the production of the Viceland network’s documentary series Jungletown.

Managed the technical execution of two large scale musical productions over a team of technicians and inters. Oversaw the scene shop day-to-day functions including schedules, vehicle rentals, and materials procurement. Managed and assisted in the labor of the lighting department, including procuring materials, renting and transporting equipment, and the schedule of concerts that held individual lighting design requirements multiple times per week.Oversaw the fiscal responsibilities for each department’s budgets as Department Heads would submit requests for funds. Trained two interns as carpenters, and scenic painters over the course of eight weeks using a structured course. Provided technical insights for operational efficiencies to the other designers, directors, and producers. Responsible for design conception and construction of physical scenery components of the two performances. Created technical drawings using CAD, detailed renderings, and models to assist in the build schedule and design visualizations.

While at University I worked in the Theatre Department’s Scene Shop primarily as a carpenter, assisting in the build process of several University productions by reading shop drawings, and by demonstrating a safe working knowledge of various construction methods including timber framing, steel fabrication, and modeling with foams and fabrics. I acted as the Scenic Designer for several educational productions where I had to draw up my own shop plans and build schedules using AutoCAD without support from the Technical Director for the construction and painting of both physical scenery, as well as all set dressings, and properties. I also filled several scenic painting roles throughout the many productions, using the models and elevations provided by the Scenic Designer and the Technical Director, painting structural scenery, scenery properties, stage floors, and scenic drops. I served as a load in and load out carpenter/laborer for several professional touring musicals, and concerts, where I would assist a team in the assembly and disassembly of all physical stage elements of the productions. I would also regularly serve as a trained flyman, operating the fly rail to raise and lower scenery and lighting elements on cue during both professional, and educational musical performances and concerts.
