Over the past six years I have graduated from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) with a First-Class degree, and have been in consultancy where I am now working as a Senior Ecologist. I am capable of working both individually and as part of a team, demonstrating a willingness to work hard and learn new skills, as well as providing valuable contributions to complete work to a high standard, while simultaneously working to deadlines. I have experience in a range of surveys, including Ecological Appraisal/ Extended Phase 1 habitat surveys as well as surveys for great crested newt (using both traditional and eDNA methodology), bats, badger, reptile, breeding birds, water vole and otter. I have also written a variety of reports, including badger method statements, various protected species reports and Ecological Appraisal/ Extended Phase 1 reports. I am also proficient at GIS with experience using both QGIS and ArcMAP.
