Resolving safeguarding or pastoral issues by developing strategies with students after a one to one tutorial or working closely with the safeguarding department, heads of school and external agencies to ensure students are fully supported in resolving serious issues. Ensuring all students health and welfare considerations are met by providing access to student services, learning support, study support or the college nurse if required. Screening students through the fit to learn process and assisting with transfer enquiries to other courses/institutions if this is deemed to be the best action for the individual.Monitoring attendance and punctuality of students. Implementing disciplinary processes and monitoring student's disciplinary progress. Supporting heads of school and course leads in communication with parents in discussing student progress and discipline. Attending Open evenings to recruit new students, meeting with parents to discuss student progress and promote the student experience at the college. Planning trip itineraries, preparing and allocating resources to support staff and students on excursions and activities; working in liaison with local transport providers to ensure each activity or excursion had the necessary transport provided.Managing and supporting activity staff and teachers leading activities and excursions prior to and during excursions and activities. Attending external trips to function as the main point of contact should any issues or emergencies arise. Working closely with visiting school staff to provide excellent customer service and a bespoke experience for all social activities and excursions in line with their expectations of education and enjoyment. Accomplishments include extremely positive feedback from my line manager, colleagues and visiting school teachers and students on my performance throughout the contract.
