I worked for American Bridge Company in Coraopolis, PA in the fall of 2013 and the summer of 2014. I worked with the chief engineer developing construction sequences for various bridge construction projects as well as performing quantity take offs and preparing construction documents and drawings. I used structural modeling techniques and excel data processing skills to assist in the formulation of various erection sequence submittals to the owner. I used an advanced three dimensional structural modeling program, LARSA 4D, to draw and analyze bridges and support structures. I also assisted the Chief Operating Officer in means and methods cost comparisons for various structures.

I worked at PennDOT in Lancaster, PA during the summer semester of 2011, 2012 and 2013. I was an inspector on state construction projects and became familiar with materials testing, quality assurance, construction safety, various bridge and highway construction methods, PennDOT specifications and documentation related to construction projects. I was requested to return each summer because of excellent work performance.
