- Collaborate with research partners as a part of the Exemplars in Global Health Program, which seeks to understand drivers of progress in countries that have achieved particularly rapid progress in key areas of public health- Lead engagements with partners such as WHO, World Bank, and various Ministries of Health to inform data-driven decision making and strategic planning- Developed an interactive tool in collaboration with partners at WHO meant to assess priorities across maternal and newborn health. Presented this resource at a WHO regional workshop in Zambia attended by ministerial delegations as well as representatives from WHO, UNICEF, and UNFPA country offices. The approach underlying this tool is now being leveraged to inform countries' maternal and newborn health acceleration plans.

- Statistical modeler on the Maternal, Child, and Neonatal Health team responsible for worldwide estimates of Child Malnutrition and Preterm Births in the Global Burden of Disease Study- Innovated novel approaches to estimating rates of stunting, wasting, and underweight prevalence worldwide, leading to a publication that highlighted the importance of considering child malnutrition as a spectrum- Wrote a masters thesis that quantified how upstream environmental, behavioral, and clinical risk factors faced by mothers contribute to racial and ethnic disparities in neonatal health outcomes in the US

- Defended an honors thesis providing evidence that small scale habitat change impacts vector-borne disease risk- Conducted 2 months of field work in Madagascar’s Marojejy National Park and the surrounding villages

- Collaborated with partner NGO in Peru to implement a new, portable cervical cancer screening device into mobile clinics using human centered design strategies- Developed a training package to teach providers how to use the device- Delivered a presentation to the Peruvian National Cancer Institute which resulted in a letter of support for the use of the device in Peru- Mentored new students in a project aimed at identifying organizations where the device could be implemented locally
