Assisted editors by: organizing projects, managing media, selecting broll, subcliping interviews, and selecting music. Backed up Avid projects to servers daily. Edited sequences that were sent as Public Relations clips. Handled deliverables of shows including: ouput to HDCAM SR, finalizing the music cue sheet, and creating H.264 and DNX video files.

Managed and ingested taped based media (IMX, HD CamSR, and HDV) as well as tapeless media (MXF and EX). Created Avid projects, exported files for delivery to the FTP and daily task of managing media. Grouped multi-cam shoots and audio by sync-points for hour long episodes.

Managed production and post-production equipment including: camera (F900, EX1, EX3, V1U, A1U, and V1U’s), audio (mixers, recorders, and mics), and edit suites (built suites on Mac and PC from scratch using matrox boxes, AJA Express IO, AJA Kona card, and Nitris DX).Supervised troubleshooting of Avid MC 5.5 and ISIS 700, managed ISIS workspaces, setup projects in multiple formats from tape-based to file-based using AMA linking, and created workflows for all types of formats.

Assisted editors by: stringing out sequences, breaking down dailies, setting up avid projects, digitizing footage, transcoding file formats, cataloging and labeling advertising media, duplicating DVDs, Digibeta, HDCAM, managing petty cash, and dealing with production office needs.

Performed various post-production and media management duties, including: Project setup and media ingestion in an Avid Unity environment, organization of raw media for producer and editor use, and duplication of media across many formats including HDCAM, XDCAM, Digibeta, DVD, and file formats. Layed off masters to tape, encoded files to various formats and uploaded to FTP sites. Also cleaned and maintained tape decks and other video equipment (switchers, routers, etc.).
