I entered the work force right out of high school. After a few miscellaneous food service jobs, I entered the credit union world as a teller. I quickly took on more responsibilities until I took a position as a quality control auditor. In that position I learned more about the credit union and compliance laws. After five years in that position, I moved to an indirect processor role. There I learned how to process the auto loans that dealerships sold to the credit union. I was able to learn a lot of different communication styles from working with the dealerships. After five years, I made a lateral move to my current position as a home equity processor. I have learned a lot more about loan documents and compliance in this position.
