About Ryan Ford, Pe

In 2018, after spending my career in power working in various capacities in engineering, construction, commissioning and operations I realized that I wanted to do something more entrepreneurial and try to make a difference. Joining Forsite seemed like the ideal opportunity as we focus on the intersection of power and real estate. At Forsite, I was able to direct and focus on major power plant and industrial plant decommissioning and remediation in order to put the real estate back to use to help the local community and economy. In early 2020, I was able to fulfill a lifelong goal of starting a renewable development business to interconnect solar, wind and battery projects into the grid using existing base-load plant Point of Interconnection. To that end, I was co-founder of Forsite Renewables and had the privilege of helping to build out an exceptional team that continues to execute on early stage projects.
