As a Manager on Capital One Business Deals, I was a hands-on Tech Lead who managed a feature team and actively contributed to the Capital One Business Deals website. Tech stack included Angular, Java, AWS, Postgres, and a Content Management System. I managed 5 direct reports.Before Business Deals, I led design, implementation, and delivery of intent on the Enterprise Enrollment team within the Consumer Identity organization. Tech stack included Java REST APIs, Java OL, AngularJS, and AWS. I closed a massive amount of tech debt in a short amount of time, expanded code quality scans (Sonar), expanded security scans (Eratocode), fixed hundreds of findings, doubled JUnit test coverage, created Cove CI/CD pipelines, moved to Docker, added Datadog, and New Relic. New feature development included expanded capture of mobile phone numbers, a deep link solution from the credit card application, a new SMS OTP verification, and streamlined enrollment flows. I recruited, interviewed, and managed several direct reports. I actively led Agile ceremonies, slotted work, reviewed code, defined release scope, and managed releases.Before Enterprise Enrollments, I led design, implementation, and delivery of intent on the WWW Card team within the Digital Acquisitions organization. I led a significant replatform of 108 card pages from Weblogic Portal to an AngularJS Single-Page Application. Additional technologies used include Contentful (CMS), NPM, Gulp, Circle CI, and AWS Serverless architecture leveraging CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, and Elasticache. I managed a high performing Agile team with several direct reports.
