Implemented NPR’s first Prospect Management system in first six months. Independently and collaboratively documented, refined, strategized, and captured Research and Prospect Management processes and procedures, including wealth screenings, station screenings, and fundraiser and senior leadership requests. Worked independently to lead a state-of-the-art, data driven, Prospect Management department and program to help guide the identification, assignment, cultivation, and solicitation of prospective donors. Lead all efforts in the assignment of prospects to a robust, clinical and non-clinical, fundraising staff. Work hand-in-hand with fundraisers and Prospect Development colleagues to determine appropriate strategies to ensure prospects are identified, assigned, cultivated, solicited, and stewarded in proper and strategic manners. Create, monitor, and adjust frameworks in CRM to effectively track plans, metrics, and fundraiser efforts. Attend, and provide strategic information to, senior leadership prospect gift strategy sessions on a Transformational Gift level ($10M+). Managed one direct report and worked collaboratively with other internal and external departments to continually offer a donor-centric approach. Working closely, and in collaboration, with senior leadership and Office of Philanthropy colleagues, steered and oversaw all Prospect Management efforts and played a vital role in helping the Office of Philanthropy meet internal and external goals for prospecting, fundraising, engagement, communications, and stewardship.

Lead, execute, liaise, and disseminate all research and project and prospect requests for Clinical Major Gift officers/staff by the Office of Development Research. Work collaboratively with senior fundraising leadership to uncover and identify new principal gift prospects. Implement and perform portfolio review meetings with Clinical Major Gift officers. Attend, and provide strategic information to, senior leadership prospect gift strategy sessions. Integral team member of several pipeline development initiatives and lead on prospect screening program.

Perform alumni and parent prospect identification and qualification. Create and assist in cultivation strategies for Major Gift Officers and their prospects. Produce, edit, and/or provide in a timely and consistent manner confidential prospect profiles and reports for Pomona College President, Vice President of Advancement, as well as Major Gift officers. Reactively and proactively research current and prospective donors to Pomona College. Create and update prospect profiles and other Research deliverables for major gift officers and senior Development staff including the Pomona College President, the Vice President of Advancement, and the Assistant Vice President for Gift Planning and Principal Gifts.

Independently manage all daily functions of UC San Diego’s Grateful Patient Program: perform daily in-patient and out-patient screenings; forward patients to Development/hospital staff for visits; coordinate with Health Sciences Development colleagues on Grateful Patient best practices; help map and design Grateful Patient program to a new constituent database. Provide accurate, timely, and strategic information to fundraising staff on prospective donors to the University through a variety of means: Grateful Patient Program; pipeline workgroup meetings; and working closely with development officers to widen qualification strategies. Provide extensive cultivation strategies as well as oversight of data integrity, research verifications, and strategic recommendations to development offices across campus. Direct and manage Office of Development Research wealth screening program and projects. Played a pivotal role in streamlining the Grateful Patient program and worked with database conversion staff to create and format a novel and proprietary interface for daily screenings of patients for the Grateful Patient program.

Perform confidential donor and constituent research for financial, relational, demographic, and institutional information. Identify and research new major gift prospects ($100K+).

Manage prospect pipeline reports to aid senior staff in cultivating and soliciting donor prospects.
