Test Engineer
I am developing a LabView test stand using the cRio hardware to control a fuel cell. Various equipment such as mass flow controllers, temperature probes, a load cell, water pumps, and pressure regulators are used to evaluate the performance of the 1kW cell. My research is under Dr. Sullivan.
Testing And Automation
I implemented automated testing for video recievers at Iftron Technologies using LabView. Both electronic and mechanical test equipment were interfaced to increase production speed and yields. I also designed an improved menu system in LUA, opening up new possibilities for system integration with other drone hardware. I continue to work part time on the new menu system.
Mechanical Engineering Intern
At Churchill Navigation, my daily responsibilities included hardware testing and assembly for Churchill Navigation ATOM. I also was tasked with other important responsibilities with a focus in the development of their new gimbal. Specifically, I assisted with the design and fabrication of high precision optical sensor mounts as well as created a thermal calibration plate for the infrared camera system. One of my favorite products was the creation of a custom antenna tracker. The high gain antenna could track any aircraft equipped with ADS-B transmissions, while doubling as a communication link with Churchill's airplane to live-stream the gimbal video to their mobile command center.
Uas Technical Assistant
Working part time at Delta Drone America in Boulder, CO alongside my studies at School of Mines. Responsibilities include business development and planning, importation of UAS hardware from France, designing a UAS repair and distribution office, and UAS repair. In the summer, I took on a full-time position to expand Delta Drone's network in the United States, with a focus on business development.

I also worked in photoshop creating content, and towards the end of the summer started to create apps for their monthly book. I worked at the Denver Mini-Maker faire, and also the Boulder County STEAM fest. Other projects I did were setting up furniture/lighting in the new office, user feedback surveying, and bug testing.
Drone Builder
Started building and test-flying fixed wing planes. Learned how to use the 3DR Pixhawk for autonomous flight. Later in the summer, started development of the Enduro quadcopter.
