- Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service- Manage and generate KPI's for warehouse picking efficiency, shipping efficiency, and inventory stock levels - Managing all transportation activities including but not limited to: Yearly lane level bids, reducing transport costs, improving transportation efficiency, ensuring proper mode selection to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products or supplies to/from manufacturers and warehouses- Responsible for reporting shipped revenue to upper management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis- Manage and negotiate pricing for all of our 3PL warehouse providers - Manage and negotiate pricing for all logistics operations and post production activity at multiple facilities in addition to our 3PL warehouse providers - Maintain KPI metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements- Manage and supervise a team of Logistics Specialists, Logistics Coordinators and Logistics Planners- Collaborate with all departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes, such as sales, order management, finance, and shipping- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, and selection of carriers

-Maintaining and reducing freight costs while increasing on-time service levels. -Managing and reducing freight budget of $500 million through reviews of daily shipment and accessorial reports.-Identifying cost saving opportunities by mode shift and carrier utilization through extensive lane level analysis -Effectively communicating, monitoring, and protecting customer promotional activity by utilizing the centralized planning and carrier contacts. -Ensuring fulfillment and on-time delivery of all assigned customer shipments. -Daily coding and analysis of delayed customer deliveries to drive on-time improvements, while collaboratively working with -Specialist/Analysts and Centralized Planners to monitor carrier performance. -Balancing requests from internal and external sources within the structure and process of a matrix organization. -Identifying and supporting implementation of Customer Pickup and Intermodal opportunities to improve on-time and reduce accessorial spending. -Responding quickly to a change in priorities as needed for a growing business, while balancing requests from internal and external sources. -Maintaining internal and external relationships across the Unilever network (100+ customers, 120+ carriers, 30+ Distribution Centers).

• Experience deploying multiple large facilities to the SAP model, strong verbal and written communication skills, customer focus, process implementation and sustainment• Collaboration with strategic groups and sales teams on inventory moves and service expectations during facility closure• Maintain financial objectives by lowering costs through mode change utilization, weight optimization, and carrier choice• Minimize freight costs while meeting customer requirements• Monitor shipment status and resolve jeopardized loads• Serve as the transportation expertise center for the enterprise• Recommend process improvements in the centralized transportation concept• Initiate action to correct gaps between actual results and concept objectives• Coordinate the inbound flow of internal product from the point of origin to receipt at the RDC, including the oversight of availability, cost alternatives, inbound scheduling and shipments in transit• Point person between the client and the warehouse on all related issues• Perform rate – service analysis to conform with customer expectations

• Work within Transportation Planning Team to understand trends, obstacles, and opportunities for improvements• Ensure most economical freight cost for IP• Review ship plan daily with shipping facilities, issue loading plan• Monitor facility compliance with shipping plan• Develop and execute transportation and load plan for facilities • Communicate status to facilities to ensure compliance with plan• Ensure adherence to written policies and processes• Develop plans that facilities have capacity and capability to execute (to include carriers)
