I was an aerospace machinist for various shops including Aimco Precision phoenix, for almost 8 years. Getting journeyman and blueprint reading certification, along with becoming a lead and training others. I can run horizontal or vertical mills and CNC lathes of various models including but not limited to Haas, Mori seki, Nakamura and matsuura. Aquiring mastercam certification I also started programming and designing parts. Then when recession hit I decided to switch back and follow my passion to become a chef. So starting at the bottom I was line cook at an IHOP, excelling in the fast pace controlled chaos that is a kitchen. I moved on to bigger and better positions and places. I was a Certified grill master at longhorn for 2 years before becoming Kitchen Manager of Legends Sports Club which also had the added responsibility of FOH manager two or three nights a week. By designing the new menu and creating the recipes for their pizzas I saved 18% of food costs and another 10% in waste. To this day they are still using both the menu and my recipes. I have also had the pleasure of being General Manager of Daddy O's and a Famous Sam's before they seemingly disappeared. During my most recent position as Head Chef/KM of an assisted living facility I decided to start my own catering company. It's very unique. I call it fully customizable catering, "Don't be hangry, be happy!" is my slogan. It's going to take some time before that takes off and in the meantime I need to secure my family's future, which means I need to step it up and look for a company that values the talent I can bring to the table in a position equally suited to my skillset. I've held every position in the food industry and done a number of things which makes me a great candidate to run the show, a great leader ,trainer ,delegator and team builder. I have excellent communication skills and I can think quick on my feet. I would be a valuable asset for the right company with needs of that caliber.
