Procurement Buyer
CurrentResponsible for price negotiation, purchasing, and management of finished goods and manufactured components that are sold in the automotive aftermarket. Manage relationships with external vendors who supply the company with raw materials as well as internal, cross functional teams. This collaboration is to help create beneficial margins while maintaining regulated quality testing to meet the consumer’s needs. Work daily in our OMS (Syteline) and internal product management programs to create projected demand, develop innovative products, and help manage inventory levels. Responsible for 1 direct report, helping maintain vendor relations, meeting shipment deadlines, and placing orders to effectively meet demand.
