I work in person-centred planning when going through employment discovery with individuals to ensure that they maintain choice and control throughout the whole process.

I worked as an intern at the Child and Youth Mental Health clinic in Abbotsford for the provincial government. This was under the Ministry of Children and Family Development. In this role, I did tasks like helping with intake processing, leading groups for teens and children that dealt with anxiety (largely utilizing CBT methods), seeing a couple of clients on my own and also doing various admin tasks.

I worked in the cemeteries division in the Parks and Recreation department of the City of Abbotsford. General maintenance is done at the cemeteries to keep them in good condition. Assistance is also given in the day to day operations that are run at the cemeteries.

As the only employee at the farm (besides my boss), I'm tasked with a lot of responsibilities at the farm. I can't afford to slack off or waste time at the farm, therefore I personally feel that I have a fairly strong work ethic that I credit from this job. I've done just about everything there, from weeding to wrapping and tying trees, to loading trucks that are picking up orders. My tasks are dependant on the season, but I've done more or less almost everything I can imagine one can do at a tree nursery.
