As a go-kart operator, I managed go-kart track operations and two assistants. I also enforced strict safety protocols to ensure no customers or assistants were injured. As a ticket salesman, I presented customers with a ticket sales presentation that would double profit on a sale. I also took inventory each night to ensure that there were adequate supplies for the next day, and I completed nightly paperwork detailing total sales.

As an undergraduate research assistant, I prepared plants and the greenhouse for experiments. I also collected data through measuring leaf length and plant height, washing and scanning roots, separating and counting seeds, and weighing leaves and roots. I was a part of the team that analyzed data with Microsoft Excel and R Studio. In addition, I presented the "Genetic Architecture Underlying Brassica rapa Morphology During Salt Stress" poster at the 2020 Miami University Undergraduate Research Forum. I am also a co-author of the "Epistatic interactions underlying abiotic stress response influence resource allocation in Brassica rapa" presentation at the 2021 Botany conference and "A Low-Cost High-Throughput Phenotyping System for Automatically Quantifying Plant Size and Greenness" presentation at the North American Plant Phenotyping Network conference.
