As a Student Careers Coach at the University of Northampton, I support students in their career development by offering guidance on CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation. I help students understand and improve the skills they need for the recruitment process. Through individual coaching sessions and workshops, I assist students in recognising their strengths and connecting them with career opportunities. My goal is to equip students with the practical tools and knowledge to present themselves confidently to potential employers and make informed decisions about their future careers.

As Facia’s Campus Ambassador at Northampton, I regularly organise events alongside my role as AI Society President to help students better understand cybersecurity. I run interactive sessions, lead awareness campaigns, and break down complex security topics to make them easier for students to grasp and apply.I’ve also been able to incorporate knowledge from various modules, such as Computer Communications, to explain how internet security and protocol protection relate to issues like deepfakes. This approach makes the material more relatable for students studying those modules and helps illustrate how Facia’s identity protection solutions work. It’s rewarding to see my peers realise the growing importance of cybersecurity in our increasingly digital world.As President of the AI Society, I’ve had the opportunity to feature Facia’s work at a few of our events, where we often explore the connection between AI and cybersecurity, highlighting how these fields intersect, sometimes also covering emergent news and stories.

Led financial management and fundraising efforts, resulting in a 52% increase in the society's budget within 6 months. This in turn enabled us to host more events ensure they are well catered for and executed.

In my role at Outlier, I worked on improving machine-generated content. I reviewed content from LLM tool Use to LLM responses checking for accuracy, clarity, brevity, and correct grammar. This process ensured the final output meets the required quality standards.Although I worked in this role during my summer break, it allowed me to contribute to the AI field. And even though my input may be small, I know the impact is much greater, as the systems benefit from high-quality data used for training, fine-tuning, and more.

As a Knowledge Transfer Program Associate, I collaborated with GXO and the University of Northampton (via Unitemps) on an AI project that aims to improve warehouse operations. My expanded role involved:• Conducted an extensive literature review of over 70 academic articles to gain a comprehensive understanding of AI applications in supply chain management, with a focus on order consolidation and logistics routing.• Performed in-depth comparative analysis of traditional and AI-driven methods in logistics, evaluating their effectiveness across various supply chain processes including order collection, packing, consolidation, and routing.• Proposed advanced AI algorithms, including machine learning models and optimization techniques, to enhance GXO's existing processes and identify new opportunities for efficiency gains.• Analyzed multiple case studies of successful AI implementations in the logistics industry, extracting valuable insights and best practices applicable to GXO's operations.• Formulated strategic recommendations for GXO's AI adoption, including implementation strategies and potential challenge mitigation.• Collaborated with team members to produce comprehensive reports detailing our findings, methodologies, and recommendations for optimizing GXO's supply chain operations.• Presented complex technical concepts and findings to senior leadership, translating AI insights into actionable business strategies.This role allowed me to apply and expand my AI and data science expertise in a real-world logistics context, contributing to tangible improvements in supply chain efficiency and positioning GXO at the forefront of AI-driven logistics innovation.

I was involved in delivering workshops and presentations to faculty, sharing insights on how AI can be used in education. Our efforts have been recognised at three big conferences – the UON Learning and Teaching Conference, Merged Futures 6, and the UON Research Conference. At these events, I presented our research, focusing on the data analysis we’ve done and the collaborative work that’s been pushing AI literacy forward.Behind the scenes, I was working on the more technical side of things, like prompt engineering and fine-tuning a custom GPT model. Which we used to conduct our Data Analysis I had to iteratively test the GPT to ensure it achieves the task at a high accuracy level. At thew time working with "gpt 4" verison which was less capable meant more work went into the prompting side, but even more interesting/coincidental was just after finishing the analysis, "gpt 4o" was released. All in all I was able to aid the team to achieve their intended goal of conducting, reviewing and presenting the results of an AI model being used for Qualitative data analysis. The experience was key especially in my first year as I got to actively apply my data analysis skills in a setting away from schoolwork.One of the standout moments for me was presenting at the Merged Futures 6 conference (a well Known Northampton conference) in June 2024, where we shared our progress in AI literacy with a wide audience. Off the back of that, I’m now co-authoring a research paper called Study Smart: Staff and students co-constructing AI literacy at UON. In the paper, I’m focusing on the data analysis side of our work, aiming to offer some useful insights into the role of AI in education.

This was my first summer in the UK, I worked at Wincanton Warehouse, which was an incredible experience. It was my first job abroad, and I quickly adapted to the environment, learning a lot and making short term friendships along the way. The role allowed me to develop a strong work ethic and attention to detail. As a bit of a perfectionist, I often stayed a few minutes after my shift to take on extra tasks, such as organizing carts or tidying up the work area. This role stands out as one of the most rewarding in my career so far.
