Responsibilities included processing in the cleanroom, device testing, and material characterization.

Former undergraduate researcher in Professor Suneel Kodambaka's Thin Films and Nanotechnology Lab at UCLA. The research goal was to develop a new technique for growing monolayer Molybdenum Disulfide using Chemical Vapor Deposition under ultra high vacuum. Responsibilities included running experiments, collecting data, maintaining the vacuum system, and characterizing the thin films.

Saarbrücken, Germany

Former research intern for the Leibniz Institut für Neue Materialen in Germany. The team developed new electrode materials for high power density supercapacitors and capacitive deionization systems (CDI). The electrodes utilized Activated Carbon films with ultrahigh surface areas and conductivity. The objective was to prototype a variety of novel energy storage and desalination devices that exhibited high performance while using low cost and easily manufacturable materials. The project was a collaborative effort among researchers across Europe and the United States. Responsibilities included electrode fabrication in the chemistry laboratory and device characterization in the testing facilities.
