I am a financial professional based in Colorado Springs, Colorado with a background in trading, investing, venture capital, startups, and real estate. I am a full-time trader and investment writer and am also involved in the startup and VC ecosystem in Boulder, Colorado. I am a graduate of the full-time MBA program at the University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business with a focus on finance, entrepreneurship, and real estate. My professional background reflects my dual passions for financial markets and Internet start-ups. I was one of the first employees at a successful, venture-backed financial media outlet and also have experience as an equities trader, investment writer, and registered financial adviser.During my time at Leeds, I served as a director of the Deming Center Venture Fund, a student-run venture capital firm that invests in early stage, technology focused startups located along the Front Range. I also completed an internship between my first and second year with a Boulder-based venture capital firm with a focus on the natural products space.
