I am currently the Director of HTM Cybersecurity with Sodexo. Along with my peers we are implementing Cybersecurity in the Healthcare Medical Device space across the country. My role is to create, implement and advise on standards, guidelines and best practices for medical device Cybersecurity. In my free time, I volunteer as the President of the Healthcare Technology Management Association of Ohio (HTMA-OH) where I get the opportunity to work with HTM professionals across the nation on how we can further the profession. My work with HTMA-OH is something I am very passionate about, and I am always looking for more ways to contribute to the HTM Community. Occasionally I also teach as an adjunct professor for the College of Biomedical Equipment Technology on the subject of IT/Cybersecurity to HTM professionals.Previously I spent time as Trinity Health Clinical Engineering Site Director over both the Biomed and imaging technicians. In this role I am responsible for Mount Carmel St. Ann's, New Albany Surgery Hospital and the Core Lab. Before that I spent 5 years as the Supervisor of the Clinical Engineering department at Ohiohealth. Responsible for overseeing multiple sites, coordinating large projects and evaluating technology both current and future.Going into the way back machine, I have over 10 years maintaining medical equipment which includes certification on dialysis equipment, Philips monitoring, Biomed networking, IV pumps, Witt Xper, St Jude EP equipment and more.
