Manage core mining product contract life cycle costing. Developing relationships, internal product knowledge, standards, and processes to assist and support contract lifecycle costing, negotiation and management. Manage contract formation and document preparation and provide support in contract negotiations and award of contracts. Developing and initiating cost per hour strategies and solutions, finalizing contract with corporate and customer legal departments. Develop, initiate and manage contract management best practices and processes, define roles and responsibilities, and educate, support and provide expertise to internal stakeholders on contract management. Manage contracts. Monitoring contract compliance and performance, reviewing schedule adherence, managing annual contract escalation and pricing adjustment processes, communicating and clarifying contract content, responsibilities and commitments, and reporting and communicating on key performance indicators/measurements (KPI’s). Thoroughly understand Caterpillar equipment and all aspects of contract life cycle costing, and transfer knowledge gained to Mining Management, Product Support, Mining Account Managers and Underground Mining Systems Management through liaising with various key knowledge holders, attending technical and product training, and conducting site visits. Ensure that contractual requirements, terms, obligations and rights are adhered to, by the customer and Finning are enforced and upheld by contract owners in a timely manner and that contract deadlines are met. Review existing contracts, assess contract life costing, obligations and terms, fully understand customer and Finning contract responsibilities, determine contract accuracy and future concerns, and communicate findings to Mining Management. Achieve or exceed targets set for contract development, mining deal process, contact profitability and contract pricing updates
