I am currently the Facilities Supervisor for Spring Gully. I supervise a team of 18 back-to-back Multi-Skilled Operators (MSOs) to safely and efficiently operate six processing facilities in Queensland producing over 300 terajoules of Coal Seam Gas (CSG) and over 10 million litres of produced water daily. These facilties include three "legacy" Gas Processing Facilities using gas fired reciprocating compressor technology, one "Phase 1" Gas Processing Facility using electrified centrifugal compressor technology, one Pipeline Compression Facility using a gas turbine driven centrifugal compressor, and a Water Treatment Facility using Reverse Osmosis technology. My role focuses on managing both the team and the facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of the six facilities, as well as interfacing with the Field team operating the CSG wells feeding the facilities, the Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance teams, engineering, and project teams. Responsibilities include setting production nominations, ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory requirements, leading the team of 18 MSOs, approving and scheduling work orders, coordinating shutdowns and other maintenance activities, ensuring the team is trained and competent, and being a contact point for the numerous other teams we interface with. My previous role was Asset Improvement Manager for Origin's Spring Gully, Denison and Pipelines Assets based in Queensland, Australia. This role focused on providing strategic and operational support to the asset through continuous improvement initiatives, OPEX reduction, interface and stakeholder management, and capital project coordination, as well as providing occasional role coverage for the site based Field and Facilities Managers (including Site Safety Manager and Site Emergency Response Team Leader roles). I am an experienced Process Engineer by background and have spent my career working in the Onshore Oil & Gas sector. In my engineering career I have worked in design, construct, commissioning and operate phases of both Conventional and Unconventional developments, covering all Surface Operations, including Wellhead Facilities, Gathering Networks, Gas Processing Facilities, Water Treatment Facilities, and Pipeline Compression Facilities. I have a particular interest in maintaining good Process Safety practices, as well as interest in developing a rewarding workplace culture through communication and strong leadership. I am a Chartered Chemical Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
Listed skills include Oil/Gas, Feed, Commissioning, Hazop, and 3 others.
