• Strategically manage and supervise Hotel Revenue Streams to ensure all inventory is sold throughout the hotel at the optimal price • Prevent erosion of hotel revenue through strategic and accurate implementation of hotel and head office procedures around revenue production. • Maintain the Sales mix within the Hotel • Ensure allocations are managed appropriately • Constantly monitor all booking channels. • Ensure Hotel reservation system, both for food and beverage, is checked for market consistency • Responsible for checking adherence to all standard operating procedures to achieve the optimal RevPAR • Implement “red flag” actions – actions required when market segments are forecasting to finish below budget, or showing signs of decline/distress • Analyze STR / Hotelligence reports to evaluate Hotel performance • Manage all Rate review strategies and implementation. • Ensure all business that cannot be taken is referred to a sister property. • Maintains all Free sell allocations • Deal with individual GUESTS, travel agents, tour operators, e-mail and internet inquiries and bookings, • Validating the IDEAS Forecasts for accuracy and validity • Conduct daily pricing meetings as per prescribed agenda. • Complete and maintain Hotel Forecasts• Invest Time on Competitor Benchmarking as well as international trends and Markets, keeping up-to-date with the changing Market place. • Participate in Monthly Marketing Meetings – Ensuring all Month End Statistical reports have been completed and analyzed and actions implemented based on the Month End Thermometer • Group enquiries • Record and analyze denials and implement Yielding decisions based on this. • Maintain availability, by managing rates and inventory through Hotels Own website and other channels for current and future dates• Manage and develop Reservations and Front Office STAFF through Constant and necessary Guidance and training on Yielding and Rate Management Principles.
