The US Army Command and General Staff College educates, trains and develops leaders for Unified Land Operations in a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational operational environment; and advances the art and science of the profession of arms in support of Army operational requirements

Brigade Exercise Planner responsible for the synchronization and coordination of the Culminating Training Events (CTEs) to include the requesting and templating exercise resources for Army Reserve and National Guard units deploying in support of contingency operations worldwide, and joint forces as directed. Manage and synchronize long range planning efforts with strategic partners to incorporate the commander's mission essential task list and training objectives into a comprehensive training event to validate units for deployment. Responsible for synchronizing long range planning efforts between Division West, two adjacent Brigades, and the 75th Training Command for Rotational Force Pool (RFP) Unit commands ranging from Field Grade to General Officers.

Task Force 1-21 Field Artillery Mobile Education and Training Team 2OIC in charge of all D-30J 122mm Howitzer training to the 2nd and 4th Brigade of the Afghan National Army 205th Corps. Responsible for all aspects of units training plan, the monitoring and welfare of nine NATO instructors, command responsibility in excess of $1,250,000 worth of equipment, Officer in charge of all live fire exercises and the certification of 82 Afghan Field Artillery Soldiers in support of Operation Enduring Freedom counter insurgency operations. Also, serves as Task Force 1-21FA operations and logistics officer responsible for deployment and redeployment readiness, stability operations, training schedules and execution and provides technical advice to the commander. Also serves as the hand receipt holder for all associated equipment for the training team.

Commander of a Firing Battery in a M270A1 Multiple Launch Rocket System Battalion in the 41st Fires Brigade of the 1st Cavalry Division, consisting of one ammunition platoon and two firing platoons with six MLRS launchers. Responsible for the training, leadership, discipline, morale, fitness, safety and medical readiness of 74 Soldiers. Mission is to integrate accurate timely fires into full spectrum operations anywhere, anytime. Directly accountable for the maintenance and care of equipment and resources in excess of $20 million. Coordinates and synchronizes the daily activities and future operations of all assigned Officers, NCO's, and Soldiers in both garrison and field environments. Responsible for the Family Readiness Group (FRG) ensuring Soldiers and their Families are supported both in garrison and during deployment.

Division Operations Center Fires battle Major for Multi-National Division-Baghdad during operation supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. primary adviser to the DOC Chief of Operations in all matters joint fires. Coordinates intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, close air support, air and artillery assets during counterfire to ensure rapid and proportional response. Supervises current counter-indirect fire operations and planning and ensures support to BCTs in planned artillery and CAS mission. Ensures the mission readiness of the DOC fires section in battle drills and rehearsal proficiency with supported BCTs. Supervises the MND-B counterfire officer in daily operations involving target acquisition assets. Provides operational oversight to the MND-B Fire Support NCO and Battle NCO. Additional assignment as the Officer in charge of the Division prosecution task force tasked to obtain warrants and detention orders in accordance with Iraqi law in support of BCT and Iraqi Security Forces counter insurgency operations. Supervise nine Law enforcement advisers and two intelligence analyst. Adviser to the Division command group on warrant development and execution.

Responsible for aiding the Brigade Operations Officer in coordination and synchronization of the combat operations of a heavy brigade combat team consisting of on combined arms battalion, one armored reconnaissance squadron, one artillery battalion, one aerial reconnaissance squadron, one brigade support battalion and one support troops battalion totaling more than 4,000 Soldiers. Responsible for information and orders development and distribution, battle captain for Brigade current operations, executes battle drills and maintains Division reporting requirements for all missions pertaining to Operation Iraqi freedom. Additionally responsible for maintaining the tactical operations centers ability to receive information, distribute information, analyze information, submit recommendations to the commander, integrate resources and synchronize resources.

Platoon Leader for a Field Artillery Battalion deployed as a Motorized Maneuver Task Force in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom with the mission to conduct counterinsurgency operations as part of 4th Brigade 1st Cavalry Division (MND-N). Responsible for the Police Transition Team consisting of 12 Soldiers and 3 civilian Police Liaison Officers with the overall responsibility to train and develop the Iraqi Police. Responsible for the accountability and maintenance of four M1114 Up-Armored HMMWVs and associated equipment valued in excess of $3,000,000. Additionally serves as the Battalion ISF LNO providing the communication link between the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and Coalition Forces (CF). Coordinates all aspects of the Iraqi Army Warrior leader Course and Iraqi Police Academy. Additional responsibility include Field Ordering Officer for TTIF accounts totaling $15,000.

Battalion Effects Coordinator of a Mechanized Cavalry Battalion assisting in planning, supervision, and execution of the Battalion Fire Support Element. Responsible for fire support planning and coordination, combining lethal and non-lethal means to engage targets based on the commanders guidance. Ensures training and certification of battalion fire support teams and works as a liaison in the tactical operations center for maneuver companies processing the fire missions.

Firing Platoon leader for a M270A1 Multiple Launch Rocket System Field Artillery Battery that is Army Tactical Missile System capable. Responsible for 14 Soldiers and 5 vehicles including three M270A1 launchers, two highly mobile military wheeled vehicles, and various associated equipment worth more than $10 million. Provides general support rocket and missile fires to the 2nd Infantry Division, Third ROK Army and the Ground Component Commander. Responsible for the tactical employment of the M270A1 launchers and the training, discipline, health, morale, welfare and combat readiness of his platoon. Responsible for tactical development of launcher platoon area and ammunition management. additionally serves as maintenance and safety officer.
