Completed 8-week internship in Biomedical Engineering department and was retained as Lead Equipment Distribution Tech upon completion Cleaned, repaired and performed preventive and corrective maintenance on Alaris & Hospira A+, A+3 and PCA Infusion Pumps, sequential compression devices, Hill Rom hospital beds, GE telemetry transmitters, centrifuge equipment, and physiological monitors. I was also responsible for managing a team of equipment distribution technicians whose responsibilities were to gather, clean and distribute various types of equipment throughout the hospital. My management responsibilities were - scheduling work hours, screening potential new hires and maintaining customer satisfaction.
