New College Graduate with a major in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications with an emphasis on video game design and production. I like world-building, whether in video games, TV shows or stories. Think of the creation of a fantasy place. This passion led me to become interested in environment art, which is a very creative process and hard to do. To give you an idea of what this entails, I must first imagine a space, like a living room, and add all the pieces that create that visual environment. This would begin with originating a story concept, creating an illustration, and a few drawings. Everything in the living room needs to be designed and modeled in 3D software. So, I create the architecture, walls, ceilings, furniture, etc. I must also design the composition and texture of everything you’ll see. Such as what’s on the floors – hardwood, rugs, etc., what are the lamps and decorative objects made of, and define the colors. The project is completed when the entire room environment is done. I’ve been a video gamer for years and I'm also a part of a D&D podcast. I want to launch my career with an entry-level 3D Environment Artist position.
