I am a member of the Senior Management Team, setting and monitoring strategic direction and the performance of Sport Hawke's Bay and ensure organisational alignment.Key roles include: - Managing the Community Sport contract held with Sport New Zealand, and the 7 staff members contributing to this work. - Initiating and forming new partnerships while managing existing stakeholder relationships. - Contributing to the development and implementation of the Sport Hawke's Bay brand proposition alongside the Marketing and Communication Plans. - Manage the brand image and marketing for Sport Hawke's Bay. This includes, effectively managing, maintaining and enhancing Sport Hawke's Bay brand image and profile both internally and externally. - Seek out growth opportunities through sponsorship, trusts and other innovative revenue initiatives for Sport Hawke's Bay. - Implement the strategy for future funding including identifying future revenue earning opportunities and leveraging from existing sponsorship's and relationships.

The Mitre 10 Park Hawke's Bay attracts around 320,000 users per annum. Attendances have doubled in the last five years which is a result of great facilities plus good management, especially by the sporting codes, schools and event organisers who use the park.

Along with working alongside staff to make Wellington Zoo the best little Zoo in the world my role was responsible for developing new strategies to grow Zoo fundraising and corporate partnership initiatives. This included meeting annual targets of c.$1 million per annum and show growth in this revenue stream. I worked hard to engage, motivate, equip and manage high quality and passionate advocates. A key area of this role was to establish and grow relationships with donors and key suppliers including some high valued corporate supporters of the Zoo.
