The professional registered nurse is accountable to plan, coordinate, provide, intervene and evaluate the care of assigned patients based upon the treatment plan, nursing standards, nurse practice act and individual patient needs. Each professional registered nurse participates with the interdisciplinary team to establish an individualized plan of care for each patient.

• Oversee daily functions of operations such as: Staff and patient scheduling, sleep study acquisition and troubleshooting of equipment, supply ordering and upkeep, working with physician panel, and developing/servicing physician office referring managers and/or other staff• Ensured the flow of patients and procedures in the department• Trained and supervised clinical and clerical/support staff• Communicated the goals and philosophy of the organization• Established and maintained the "Policies and Procedures Manual"• Provided professional and community education programs, support groups, and educational training• Develop and implement marketing strategies for physician business development• Provided comprehensive evaluation and treatment of various sleep disorders including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education• Provided oversight of other sleep center staff, including training and orientation of new staff• Implemented appropriate interventions (including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, etc.)• Demonstrated the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age-specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision• Scored results (such as sleep/wake stages, respiratory events, cardiac events, limb movements, arousals, etc.) utilizing AASM standards and generate accurate reports by tabulating sleep/wake and clinical event data

Bachelor’S Degree, Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, 3.87 Gpa

Associate’S Degree, Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, 3.5 Gpa
