Managed a 70-person team responsible for the end-to-end servicing of all syndicated loans where Citigroup acts as the administrative agent for a portfolio of 600 deals originated by the Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory (BCMA) group. Direct ownership of key stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to best position the firm to grow its revenue and client base. Responsibility over the strategic direction of the team, including people, technology, policy, budget and organizational structure.

Led the six-person Wholesale Lending Asset Class Control team with responsibility for supporting the wholesale lending product from a financial control and external reporting standpoint firm-wide. Identify, centralize and refine like-functions performed across the firm’s line of business Financial Control teams, including Balance Sheet/P&L reconciliations, variance analysis, booking of loan loss/lending related reserves on the ledger, quarterly substantiation of general ledger account balances and posting/automating recurring manual ledger postings.

Oversee the Wholesale Loans Middle Office, comprised of 25 individuals responsible for 4 diverse functional teams, including global trade settlement, specialized/complex loan servicing, global trade entry, and client service/trade support. Responsible for providing middle office and operational support for all lines of business engaging in the origination or trading of corporate/ syndicated loans and related products. Product coverage included vanilla syndicated/bilateral loans, collateralized loan obligations, loan total return swaps, distressed debt, principal finance and private credit.

Managed the loan trading operations hub, consisting of 20 individuals across four teams responsible for loan servicing, trade confirmation, client onboarding and trade settlement. Businesses supported included credit trading, debt capital markets and credit portfolio group.

Led a team of three responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the firm’s books and records by processing all loan lifecycle activity (drawdowns, paydowns, repricings, and interest/fee payments) in JPM’s loan processing system, LoanIQ. Performed secondary review and final approval of all transactions processed by team members as part of the loan servicing function.
