I am a seasoned reinsurance executive with more than 20 years of experience in aftermarket reinsurance management. After working in automotive retail, I've had the ability to gain experience from several different types of related roles. I worked as a retail F&I agent at an agency starting in 2004 and learned reinsurance management from some of the industry pioneers. In 2008 I left the agency and started Rainmaker Advisory, LLC, a reinsurance management firm. Over the next 14+ years, I built and scaled Rainmaker, serving several hundred dealer families and forming more than 100 micro captive reinsurance companies. Simultaneously, I held roles at Portfolio as Reinsurance Specialist, National Reinsurance Specialist and as of February 2018, Managing Director. In December 2021, I sold my company, Rainmaker Advisory LLC, to Brown & Brown (NYSE:BRO). At that time our team joined forces with Brown & Brown Dealer Services (BBDS) , which has been built over the last 15 years by multiple acquisitions of some of the most talented F&I development agencies in the United States under the leadership of Michael Neal. The sale to Brown & Brown gave us expanded access to all markets and programs, in addition to significant additional training and development resources. After learning much on the leadership team at Brown & Brown, I had a unique opportunity presented to me - the chance to come back to Portfolio as Chief Sales Officer. This was a role that had always stood out to me as a dream, the chance to make my mark on a company I believe deeply in and have strong connections with. It all came together, and I took the opportunity to come back "home" to Portfolio.In my role as CSO, my job is to help facilitate the overall growth and expansion strategy of Portfolio in all markets. For me, it comes down to serving our team, our dealer clients, and our agency partners. Our mission is to create significant, meaningful, generational wealth for clients thru reinsurance; and in the dealerships to improve sales and profitability in a compliant manner. Leading the sales team at Portfolio is a privilege which I don't take lightly, and the continuous improvement of or value proposition to clients is a daily priority.I welcome any opportunity to connect with high quality F&I income development agency owners as well as dealer owners & operators.
