I lead an amazing team that is responsible for the strategic and daily operation of our high-volume, complex and flexible logistics network that scales to ~900,000 inbound truckload deliveries and 700,000 outbound store deliveries annually. Total IB pick-ups are ~1.5M (includes advance LTL loads into our consolidators). The product mix includes general merchandise, temp controlled food, dot.com and non-retail product. Led 250 soldiers in an Advanced Individual Training environment. Was responsible for leading 5 drill sergeants and 15 senior non-commissioned officers and their training programs. The primary goal of this military company was to train soldiers in specialty skills who recently finished basic training. We trained over 750 soldier students before going on to their permanent duty station. I was proud that I was selected as a First Lieutenant ahead of all other Lieutenants and 5 other Captains to take the command role. I received the "General MacArthur" leadership award while in that role. It was an excellent role for me to develop my authentic leadership style that would prepare me for other roles after the military. I was able to show I have very high standards while having a open leadership style that allows others to bring issues and recommendations to me in a comfortable manner.

This was another good developmental role for me as I was able to better understand the role of an Army Commander. I leveraged this time to fully understand how to run a supply office, firing ranges and overall develop excellent training. It prepared me well for my next role as a Company Commander.

This was a 24 hour team that provided forward looking and current operational intelligence to the US Army - Europe Deputy Commander. I presented to high level officers often to include a 3 star General Officer.Second, my role was to perform analytical work on both future (potential) conflicts and to provide deep analysis on threats in the European Theater.
