- Lead the full cycle of new product development from proof-of-concept to full scale implementation for both large systems and individual system components- Utilize PLCs and PIDs to perform various automation tasks using analog sensors, limit switches, etc. as input- Create wiring diagrams, enclosure/component, as-built and various shop drawings- Interface with customers to discuss specific needs and ultimately engineer large-scale, custom electrical systems for clients with unique applications - Write documentation for various field procedures related to installation, validation and maintenance of installed equipment for compliance with standards such as cGMP- Train other Engineers and Technical Support staff- IT administrator responsible for maintaining company data, locally hosted email and Active Directory servers as well as individual workstations. Contributor in a larger project to identify mechanisms in which ribosomal RNA is degraded in stress conditions in E. coli. The primary focus of the project was exploration of function and regulation of specific ribonucleases and their interaction with YmdB, a ribonuclease-binding regulator.
My role included analyzing the involvement of the bacterial periplasmic enzyme, RNase I and its possible involvement in ribosome turnover under specific conditions that may involve permeabilization of the cytoplasmic membrane.
