My areas of expertise are: daily production analysis (XRD), environmental soil sample characterization, XRD on drill core samples, analysis of unknown precipitates/samples, leach field and SX-EW circuit plugging issues, and bioreactor related samples. Several years of experience refining XRD patterns using Topas (Bruker software) from various mines in North America and Indonesia. Experience with copper cathode analysis/solid metals analysis.I worked on the Tescan SEM's, TIMA (Tescan Integrated Mineral Analyzer) systems, optical/reflected light microscopy, and XRD. I had been working with TIMA since it was first available to the public. I worked with Tescan to help troubleshoot and develop the TIMA software package and build classifications for different mine sites and environmental projects. I analyzed varying reports from different means of analysis (assay, XRD/CEC, SEM, TIMA/QEMSCAN, laser particle size analysis, etc) and reconcile data differences before preparing final reports. Optical microscopy and SEM analyses of small, unknown samples were part my daily work routine.
