My job title at Peacock Industries, Inc. was CAD designer, engineer in training, and laser cutter programmer and operator. I have dealt with everything from filling out basic paper work, developing new products, heading projects, quality control, material selection and purchasing and programming and operating the laser cutter.

My responsibility was to ensure the overall well being and safety of the campers who participated in Ferris State University's technology camps. Each camp was a week long and had a different theme from the last one. The number one goal of each camp was the satisfaction of the camper. If the campers were not enjoying themselves then adjustments had to be.

My job was an equipment operator. I operated landscaping equipment of all sizes. The majority of my time at Touch of Green was spent on a mower or running a weed trimmer. From time to time I would be put on the landscaping team to assist them with hedge trimming, flower bed design, and yard cleanups. The job taught me quite a bit about job safety, time.
