I am Ryan Heinrichs, a fourth year student majoring in Computer Science and Economics at the University of Virginia. I am a hard-working and high achieving person with a desire to provide excellence to any project I work on. Learning new software and technology is a skill I pride myself on, and I'm always up to the challenge of delving deeper into a subject I am less knowledgeable of. I have experience working with hardware and software ranging from Zünd Digital Cutting Machines to Wireshark Network Protocol Analyzer.I am extremely interested in automobiles and software development, both of which I have delved deep into here at UVA. Currently, I am a member of the Virginia Motorsport Club, a team that designs and produces a mini-baja race car for presentations and competitions. As a coder, I have participated in multiple web development projects, including a UVA-centered version of Craigslist called "Hooslist," and have worked individually on projects to hone my skills. Additionally, I am the Philanthropy Chair and House Manager of the Beta Pi Chapter of Sigma Pi, positions that require me to work within a budget to achieve great results for charity and my brothers. At UVA, I have striven to achieve academically and hope to find a potential career path in the automotive industry designing the next generation of automobiles or in a software engineering company helping to design and implement products for clients.
