Hi, I'm Ryan!My career took off in a rather unexpected way—working as a DoorDash driver while completing my Business Administration degree at Seattle University. During those countless deliveries, I became fascinated with how marketing influences customer choices. From promotions that drove orders to customer interactions that shaped brand perception, I found myself analyzing how marketing strategies directly impacted consumer behavior. That hands-on experience fueled my passion for creating marketing strategies that resonate and drive engagement.Alongside that, I dove into different areas of business such as management and marketing through my coursework and hands-on projects. This led me to my first internship as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Jimani Collections. I got to develop marketing strategies, run campaigns, and gain real-world experience in branding and content creation. It was my first real taste of how business strategy and creativity can intersect.From there, I entered another unexpected role as a Club Leader for InterVarsity... at the University of Washington. While this may have raised a few eyebrows from my Seattle U classmates, it was here that I discovered my passion for both building teams and honing my marketing skills. While being a leader for the club, I was responsible for creating campaigns to engage students, promote events, and foster a strong sense of community. I worked closely with peers to plan events and craft messaging that resonated with diverse audiences, developing a knack for understanding what motivates people and how to drive engagement through creative marketing strategies. This experience shaped my approach to teamwork, leadership, and effective communication, giving me a deeper appreciation for collaboration and community-building.I’m particularly interested in roles that allow me to leverage my marketing expertise and leadership skills to develop innovative strategies and build dynamic teams. My goal is to be recognized for my ability to create compelling marketing campaigns and drive meaningful engagement through strategic thinking and creativity.In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing sports. I grew up playing soccer and basketball, but I played intramural flag football, volleyball, softball, ultimate frisbee, and even kickball during my time in college. My most recent obsessions are golf and pickleball. I also developed a passion for baking during quarantine and love to try making new and challenging recipes with friends.
