I'm currently planning to make a career change. I'm a H.I.M Record Analyst, but am studying for a certificate in cybersecurity through Penn State Cybersecurity Bootcamp. Information Technology is an attractive field of study because how influential it has presently become to every job sector; and how dependent society has become upon it. I want to pursue a job in the field of cybersecurity because I would enjoy performing a job where I could be helping to protect individuals and their assets. I have a strong experience in the healthcare technologies in both EPIC and legacy/cerner systems. I have been in the H.I.M Record Analysts field for 8 years. It has shown me how accountable one must be with handling records. This has taught me to be reliable to help, not only myself, my department and facility to perform the best. Overall, I strive to perform at the best of my abilities and continuously want to learn new skills.
