As a Cardiac Rehab Technician, I work with patients with previous and current heart issues with the conditions being minor or major. I deal with outpatient, congestive heart failure, heart and cardiac rehabilitation consults. Each consult I provide education and if it’s a heart or cardiac rehabilitation consult I walk them as well, and the heart patients get walked two to three times a day in two our time increments. Also, we offer an out patient cardiac rehabilitation program in the lower level of the hospital where I participate in helping lead an exercise program for former heart troubled patients.

As a transporter I was on my feet the whole day either taking patients from point A to point B or taking lab specimens to the lab. Also taking equipment to where it was needed. I was exposed to what healthcare has to offer by going in and out of every unit in the hospital and learning about what goes on in each unit. This job was a great learning curve for me and only grew my interest and love for healthcare.

As a Saleman for K&L Dunrite Roofing and Restoration I set up my customers either through door knocking, advertising, or leads. I go from point A-B knocking doors to inform the homeowners that insurance companies are paying for roofs to be replaced in our community due to recent storms that have come through. Then I deal directly with the insurance company helping the home owner file claims on their property and dealing with insurance adjusters. Finally, we contract the job and have contracted crews to come out and build the roofs for our company.

In this position I performed inventory management for incoming and out going company products. I also loaded/unloaded inventory for the company.
