I am from Elk Grove, California and have lived in Utah for the last 8 years. I had a 6 year hiatus from higher learning as a result of service trips, career development, and networking. Life has a funny way of placing you in situations to succeed and grow. I originally moved to Utah to get out of uncontrollable debts and bad situations, where the job market is better. I worked in different fields of occupations to find that no matter where I went, I was not happy with my life's progression in becoming a better me and how the management scenario is going in the workforce. I believe you cannot place blame on society or other people without first taking control of the situation and making a change. School seemed to be the best option to give me what I need out of life and I am now very enthusiastic about what the future holds for me.Career Highlights: Manager of Fulfillment at Seven Peaks Water Parks- managing a team of up to 10 people in the busy season.Fulfillment/Sales Representative at BladeHQ- handling orders, customers and product in a strictly time managed environment.Academic Achievements:Achieved a 3.8 GPA holding a 15 credit workloadPassing DGM requirements- gaining fluidity in Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheets and queries. Career goal ambitions:After working in Logistics for the past 3 years, I have learned the intricacies of the freight world. I have built an extensive network of different modes of transportation to support companies in their supply chains. I have a wide array of customers that I am proud to partner with and am responsible for over 3 million dollars in sales in the past 12 months. I am close to selling my first product for my application business, Hot Zone Rescue, and look to explore further options to grow that business or move on to another venture. I still hope to work for an NBA Team eventually!
