Northeast LA-Southeast ARI served as a Major Account Executive handling accounts such as Chase, CenturyLink, ULM, and many others. I finished 2009 over 150% and #3 in the entire country for Pitney Bowes and 2010 over 130% and in the top 5 as well. I also received the award for Sales Professional of the Year for ranking the highest among all my colleagues in the region.

I opened my own sales and marketing firm after leaving Simon & Schuster, so that I could use my expertise to serve other smaller organizations that couldn't hire someone at my level. My role was to serve as the National Sales Manager for three clients at a time and participate in other sales & marketing duties with one other company. This position really improved my managerial skills, often I managed over 200 reps at a time, as well as my ability to work as an independent unit. I worked from home and traveled quite a bit.

I served as the President and part owner of a successful recording label. I helped to foster many artist as well as spent considerable time in the studio helping with the production of albums. This experience afforded me the opportunity to work closely with a lot of different people in the music industry. It gave me a very diverse background that is beneficial to me today. The label currently controls over 300 masters but isn’t operating as a full entity anymore.

I served as the head of the sales division of the Howard imprint at Simon & Schuster. This afforded me the opportunity to work with a huge organization on a global scale. I was responsible for sales reps around the country as well as several major accounts. I left this job after 9 months to pursue my own venture.

In this capacity I served as the head of the marketing department. I coordinated all of the advertising, sales tools, and trade shows for the organization. I also worked with numerous key accounts around the country strategizing on how best to display and sell our product to the end user. For the last 2 years at this company I served as the Sales VP. I was in charge of many key accounts across the country. Traveled extensively to both corporate headquarters as well as trade shows. This allowed me the opportunity to really improve upon my selling skills and garner some great experience. I also had to manage sales reps all over the country as well. This helped me to gain much needed experience in managing and working with people.
