• Stock control in cutter room and store room• Ordering of raw materials from suppliers• Following up on raw materials from suppliers• Monitor incoming and outgoing work/jobs• Assist with job work flow in the manufacturing process• Assess jobs versus order requirements• Assist with the stripping and cleaning of heavy duty gearboxes• Assisting with the Safety, Health and Environment processes• Housekeeping on the factory floor• Cycling of staff time clocking cards on a weekly basis• Delegating managerial instructions to staff• Customer Liaison• Quotations• Occasional receptionist duties• Occasional banking responsibilities • Arming & locking up of business premises in the evening.

• Logistics planning and distribution• Overall stock control• Periodic stock taking• Managerial decisions/planning• Overseeing warehouse staff and their duties• Stock rotation • Planing and supervision of the service centre

• Logistics planning and distribution at minimum cost • Daily reporting on despatch schedule• Overall stock control • Manage third party transport service provider • KPI reporting • Capturing of finished product and monitoring of B.O.M’s • Control and signing off of staff’s monthly time sheets
