As a recognized redevelopment professional with over 20 years of expertise in economic and community development, I lean into the intricacies of urban planning and public finance to make them work in tandem. During my tenure spanning three mayoral administrations with the City of Indianapolis, I have a proven track record of successfully leading the Economic Incentives team. I have skillfully managed high-impact programs such as Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Tax Abatement, Community Revitalization Enhancement District (CRED), and the New Market Tax Credit program.From suits in the conference room at 8:00 AM to boots in the mud on site by noon, I take a hands-on approach to urban revitalization and regularly coordinate with business owners, government officials, and community leaders. From RFP processes to zoning and tax finance, I have helped foster significant real estate redevelopment across the city that I proudly call home. My commitment to systemic improvement extends to strategic planning initiatives like the Indy FastTrack, IndyRezone, and other impactful policies which reflect my passion for sustainable urban growth and community enrichment through collaborative, innovative solutions.
