As a former paramedic turned cyber security engineer, I bring a unique perspective to the field of information security. After years of responding to emergency calls and providing critical care to patients, I decided to pursue a career in cyber security to protect people in a different way.My experience as a paramedic taught me the importance of quick thinking and adaptability in high-pressure situations, skills that have translated seamlessly to my work as a cyber security engineer. I am adept at identifying vulnerabilities and responding swiftly to threats, always keeping in mind the potential impact on people's lives.Since transitioning to the field of cyber security, I have gained expertise in network security, intrusion detection, threat analysis, vulnerability management and a wide array of cyber security tooling.
