My time at GenesisCare was unfortunately cut short due to the company entering bankruptcy, causing an internal restructure and a resulting redundancy.GenesisCare is a leading healthcare provider in Australia, specialising in the treatment of cancer. There are more than 5,500 highly trained healthcare professionals and support staff across Australia, the UK, Spain and the U.S., offering evidence-based cancer care, and aiming to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.My role at GenesisCare was concerned with the development and roll out of new service and business offerings globally, strategic and innovative initiatives, special projects and GenesisCare investments. Further emphasis was placed on business case development, clinical consultation and the eventual roll out of new treatment technologies for cancer through clinical trials.

Amplify Procurement is a fast-paced start-up that specialises in procurement consultancy. The company is experiencing rapid growth across all major industries where we provide specialised procurement services that support our clients to achieve their targets and get the job done. Since Amplify's creation in 2018 to now, it has become Australia's largest independent specialist procurement provider and the sky is the limit.My experience with Amplify Procurement has been across clients from the private and public sector, predominantly based in the healthcare industry but some valuable experience has been gained in alternate industries. I have a strong interest in the implementation of technology and blockchain as a mechanism to innovate and modernise the procurement function.

I obtained a position as a surgical assistant to complement studies in my full-time BMedSci degree at UTS. I gained valuable clinical healthcare and medical operations exposure and significant technical and product knowledge.

Upon graduating from the Higher Apprenticeship Program and completing a Diploma of Business in parallel to business development, I became a Consultant where my project work centred around the health and education industries. In this time my most notable project work consisted of a diagnostic review of the Junior Medical Officer Workforce at one of Australia's largest hospitals and a transformative project in the Mining and ICT industries for the Skills for Australia Project. I resigned from PwC in mid-2020 as I commenced studies to further my passion and understanding of the health industry, studying a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Technology Sydney. Worked in the Health, Education, Mining, Information and Communications Technology, Supply Chain, Business Services, Culture and Arts Industries.I was one of PwC Sydney’s youngest employees at the time of hiring, as part of the Higher Apprenticeship Program and I was the national spokesperson and ambassador of for the Higher Apprenticeship Program.

I began my experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers in July 2017 as part of the Higher Apprenticeship Program. As the first program of it's kind in Australia it was an incredible experience and something I cherish as setting valuable foundations at the beginning of my Consulting career. I joined PricewaterhouseCoopers nine months after I completed my Higher School Certificate as an alternative pathway into the professional workforce, when compared to the traditional route of attending university immediately after high school. This decision provided me with a valuable opportunity to enter one of the Big 4 Consulting Firms at a young age, years ahead of experience that was possible for my peers. I spent my time as a PwC Higher Apprentice as the national spokesperson of the program. As part of this responsibility, I spoke publicly at industry conferences, presented to executive boards and chatted with high school students who hoped to be part of the next cohort of Higher Apprentices.
