About Ryan Romanowski
I have many interests and passions related to agriculture and outdoor conservation, and it's my desire to persistently pursue the fusion of those interests within the work that I do, to improve the work and livelihood of the people that my work affects.Persistence has been a key theme throughout my education and working career thus far. It lead me to Purdue University, and provided a path for me to succeed and gain a valuable education there through hard work and dedication. Being persistent has also allowed me to grow in both technical and leadership capacities in my career. From a technical standpoint, I have used the tools from my education and grown to understand and utilize the processes and tools of CNH Industrial to lead solutions to projects. Examples include:- Resolving failures and issues of components and subsystems on hay and forage products- Redesigning an installation assembly to be used on a new hay and forage product, as a technical cost reduction for improved profitability while maintaining functionality- Leading a team in developing a process for insourcing components to our manufacturing facilitiesI enjoy taking on various leadership opportunities where I can help a team to be successful. Within those leadership opportunities, there are key items that I value and believe are fundamental to building strong culture within teams/the workplace, including promoting the following:- Teaching: Schedules become busy, but it's incredibly important to make time to teach and assist. This reduces hesitancy to ask key questions and promotes dialogue, therefore further driving to effective problem solving.- Idea brainstorming: Develop a list of ideas, and then look to pursue their feasibility. It's important to let all ideas be heard, as to not prematurely dismiss potentially great ideas.- Collaboration: A team can be more effective when the members work in tandem with one another.I am appreciative of the opportunities that I have had to learn and grow throughout my education and career, and am excited to continue that learning and growth.
