I worked as a claims assessor at Old Mutual in the Individual Life area for a year and 9 months. I have experience in assessing Severe Illness/Dread Disease and Physical Impairment claims. It has also exposed me to the corporate environment and the different challenges one can face when it comes to dispute and complaints management. Ability to provide advice to clients and stakeholders. Accurately assessing the validity and liability of claims ensuring that all requirements are met for payment of claims. Knowledge of the insurance legislation and TCF. Further understanding of the long term insurance industry and the rules that govern it.

I worked full time as a Biokineticist at Wellness and Beyond Gym, workingForDr Wouter Basson. I saw all his cardiac, chronic diseases and orthopaedicclients for rehabilitation.I also trained Durbanville Cricket Club and Stellenberg High School cricketplayers at the gym as part of an initiative to improve sports performance inyouth cricketers in the Durbanville area.I was involved in a high performance setup at Wellness and Beyond Gym. I was also the coach for the Stellenberg U14A Cricket team.

I worked part-time as the conditioning coach for the Western Province u19 and Amateur cricket teams from 2011 to 2013. This entailed setting up a yearly periodization of fitness training, gym programmes, fitness tests and physical assessments. I also assisted with coaching fielding, batting and bowling.

I did my Biokinetics internship at Sport Science Institute of South Africa. We mainly did Health and Wellness testing, chronic conditions and orthopaedic rehabilitation. I also gave classes such as, taebo, absolute abs and had a solid personal training client base.
